I was originally going for the M50Xs but I've been informed that they can be uncomfortable over long wear times which isn't ok for me and also that they have had price increases so they aren't worth what they are priced at. I need some good headphones for about 100-130 dollars preferably and I will be using them in a quit enviroment if they happen to be open back. This will be used for gaming if that is a big thing.

If you're worried about them being uncomfortable, I know Amazon and Massdrop have different ear cups you can buy for like 10$

Hard for me to recommend headphones. Cups, for me, are usually a 'Let me try these on' kind of experience.
One of my favorite pair of Cups are a pair of Polk Strikers which I can pretty much wear for an entire day with no fatigue.

Not sure where u got the info the headphones were uncomfortable, but I dont find them too bad if you wear them fully on both ears. I bought the headphones about a year ago and think they were a great investment (got them on sale like 20% off).

But if ur sure u wont like the M50x try these:

I dont own them myself but I have heard that they are really good.

Watch this video. Very popular headphone reviewer, will give you a lot of great info and talk about most of the big headphones on the market. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63BxrNuXnYg)

I would recommend going open and getting a pair of the Sennheiser HD 558. These were one of my first pairs of real headphones and they are great for gaming. Has large soundstage (very important for games) and enough bass to make games sound great without overdoing it and distorting the other frequencies. I have worn these for 7+ hours without so much as even notice a slight discomfort.
