Now for my question: Is there any noticable difference in sound & build quality between the 3 sets. These are my main concerns, seeing as how

i don't care for the velour ear pads nor the USB audio card.

As far as my research goes.

All of them are 100% the same in the sound department.

For build quality, The Core and Cloud 1 would be the same. While the Cloud 2 has 100% memory foam for the headband.

Okay, so my brother recently picked up a pair of HyperX Cloud II's and he let me use them for a night. They were so stupidly comfy compared to my Razer Krakens (Non - USB) that i decided I want a pair for my self.

After a little bit of research i found out there are actually 3 Clouds, (Core, 1, 2) But then i hit a wall. I for the life of me cannot find anybody talking about the sound & build difference between the three. All i can find is people comparing the accessory differences.

So far the only differences I've been able to see are that:

(correct me if i'm wrong)

Core: come with nothing but the headset itself and an extension cord.

Cloud 1: come with the headset, and extension cord, and a set of velour ear pads.

Cloud 2: come with the headset, and extension cord, and a set of velour ear pads + the USB audio card.

(Also I think they come in different colors on each set, but i think they

all look cool so will not affect my choice)

Now for my question: Is there any noticable difference in sound & build quality between the 3 sets. These are my main concerns, seeing as how

i don't care for the velour ear pads nor the USB audio card.

And just for record, I am well aware of the price differences between the 3, and am willing to pay. But saving a few dollars never hurt anybody right?

Thanks in advance!

Wow you're a life saver! been researching for hours now and i come here to get an answer within 10 minutes :D

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it.

i'd advice against the Cloud 2 since it's more expensive than the 1 or Core and both are comfortable but the 2 Comes with the dongle you already mentioned but that is shit and you are better of with onboard Sound.
