Lg pf1000u Audio Sync Issues

I just got the lg pf1000u and I am connecting it through hdmi to my desktop. The audio seems to be out of sync and playing around in the projector menu settings has not fixed anything (it has some audio sync settings but nothing seems to fix it). Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue? It also makes the visuals on my desktop be out of sync. My graphics card is a 980 ti if that makes any difference.

Also I had it replaced since I thought the unit was the issue (tried with multiple sources and used internal apps)
