Hello everyone, my name is Seb and I just joined LTT folding team.

I try to run f@h on my GTX 1080 most of the time if possible.

Quick question, is there a way to turn on advanced WUs on the v7 client?

WU's are assigned automatically via the server in recognition of what type of hardware you are using.

Say for example, you are folding in chrome you will get smaller packets versus using the installed F@H client which will assign larger packets.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. I haven't been folding since 2012. If I remember correctly, with the old client I had to enter a command line to 'activate' advanced units.

Cheers.

You can add certain "flags" to customize

each individual slot in the folding client.

go configure in the top left > slots >

select a slot, click edit > scroll to the

bottom and click add on extra slot options.

Then do client-type, value advanced as

shown here. (near the bottom)

Keep in mind though, advanced will give

you potentially unstable/whacky wu's not

suitable for all systems, that may or may

not work. You don't need the advanced

flag to get core 17 wu's and bonus points

anymore.

Don't forget to get a passkey:

Welcome to the team! :)
