Hello guys

So I decided to upgrade my gtx660 to a gtx1060. And at this point I'm not sure which one I should get. like the cheapest ones have only a blowerstyle cooler and one 6-pin connector, then there are a bit more expesive ones with also one 6-pin commector and two "normal" fans and even more expensive with one 8-pin connector or even two 6-pin connectors and some good coolers ofc.

So is it worth spending up to 80 bucks more for better overclocking? (is it even necessary? since the gtx1060 tends to overclock quiet well anyway)

Does it need the extra cooling and power?

And ofc, is it worth it?

Thanks a lot for your replies!

You'r awesome

The extra cooling is nice, it can extend the lifespan of the card and can give you better acoustics. However the extra power isn't all that necessary. 6-pin should be plenty.
