New HDD

I just cloned everything from my old 1TB HDD to my new 2TB HDD and when I re downloaded Steam, it tells me I have to re download all of my games. Is there a way I can just link the games back because when I cloned it over (I used  minitool) my games got cloned over as well. I assume there is a way I just don't know how. Thanks!!!

if the directory is the same then when you click install it will scan to see if it is up to date and then activate it for use rather than redownloading.

if it is in a different directory then when you click install make sure you tell steam where it is
