at least 4 BSODs today and multiple times I had to force reboot my system. This all happened after the Win10 anniversary update (I updated two or three days ago). Also, as I already posted yesterday, my HDD has been acting weird. Windows won't recognize it after rebooting (or force rebooting), even if I replug the SATA cable. To fix this I have to completly shut down the pc and replug the SATA cable (actually didn't test without replugging it). BSODs happen after heavy lagging while doing normal stuff (I was watching a movie on my pc and it just went fubar), and the only thing I can think about is the anniversary update. I did chkdsk /r to check the drive, but it still happens. Also, I can't see the BSOD error as the pc reboots almost instantly.

Does anyone know what the heck is going on? It could be related to the HDD, as I was kinda using it alot (a video and an installation software reading from an iso, all on the same drive)

If you are able, go to System > Advanced System Settings > Startup and Recovery Settings  and un-check "Automatically Restart" if it isn't already.

Maybe you'll get a good peek at the BSOD error that way.

Other than that, you can try posting the minidump file...

If the issues started after the update then it's likely that it was the cause
