i have a gigabyte z97x gaming 7 mobo with Killer e2200 ethernet port. For some reason, even though it is a 1000mbps chip i am only getting about 100mbps i know that this is a common problem but for some reason i cant fix it. after i unistalled the drives suspecting that that was the problem when i tryed to reinstall them it is saying that i do not have a killer e2200 in my computer.

Are you testing on the internet your speeds? If so, they are going to be limited by your ISP connection.
