Mouse movement causing FPS drop?

So whenever I look around quickly in game I get massive FPS drop (by like, half) with my corsair m65 mouse. When I plugged in some Logitech ball mouse it worked fine. Does anyone have a solution to this? I am running the latest firmware and my computer is more than capable of running these games (i5, 970).

Check if any process is using a lot of cpu whilst moving your mouse
