Laptop to replace SP1

Hi all,

 

Looking for some advice. I currently have a Surface Pro 1 as my only computer. I used to have a decent gaming PC but I have moved overseas and didn't want to take it with me. The only problem is I'm now finding my SP1 a bit slow when running any more than one program at a time, and also gets quite hot. So I would like to buy a fully fledged laptop.

 

Ideally I'd like it to be approx 15.6" 1080p screen (not touchscreen), so nothing too fancy there. I just want something a bit faster that can play a couple of games but nothing too intense, maybe things like BF1 when it comes out or just sports games like FIFA.

Is there anything on the market that could do this for about £300-400?

Gaming laptops start at around 500-600 quid IF you can get a good deal else it's 700 quid for the cheapest one that can do what you requested.

Is the 940M much better than Intel HD Graphics?

940M is about 50% more powerful than the Intel iGPU and the 940MX is about 65% more powerful than it. Intel HD GPUs are shit for any sort of gaming.
