Building a personal render server

Hey everyone, what's up?

so I was going to finish my new PC build and I was thinking of something, I felt the need of building a render server because of a future project that may turns so heavy for a simple PC render.
I'm not sure where I could find help or what I exactly needs but what I know is, what I'll make would be so heavy project to be finished in a one day and could be so expensive to use a render farm service in the first place.
I could turn that money that I usually waste in a render farm service to make my own server but I haven't done that before.

can someone suggest me something? a guide that I could start with or anything useful?
and how much does cost to make a render server?

I forgot to explain my project well, sorry.
the server that I'm gonna use will be for C4D, 3D modeling and probably some music production if I had to deal with this by my own.
so the server use will be for 3D modeling with heavy plugins such as Maya or C4D for videos 
do I have to list these plugins? they are really quite heavy and space consumer without compressing
