New MOBA player

Hi LTT family I am new to MOBAS in general never having played any before and im looking for opinions from you guys as to if i should try LOL or DOTA2 I know there are alot of fanboys for each game but which one is objectivly better for new players to get into? thanks in advance!

I personally think LoL is easier to get into. I'm not much of a MOBA player but I've tried both and as someone who doesn't play a MOBA very often I do prefer LoL over Dota2. LoL is just an easier game to grasp the mechanics of MOBA's.

Dota 2 by a long shot league is just for people who want the easy ride in mobas 

 

If I had to pick it would go Dota 2 > hots > smite > everything else > lol

 

But that's just my opinion

LoL will give you a better Start, but only Fools say its easy. Dota2 is a bit more complicated for new players. And ignore the Chat as new Player. Moba Communities are cancer.

i agree to a degree that lol is to get a better start since mobas are easier to grasp with lol since its the easiest to play and dota 2 is alot more complex and for the last part im 100% with you on that ignore chat + communities

Thanks for all the suggestions after trying LOL and DOTA ive decided im going to try LOL for a while seems much more simple and easy to get into

HotS is the most easy. But dont know how big the player base is atm.

In my experience, if you're looking for a starter game, then Heroes of the Storm is a good place to start. None of the aspects that League has with Mastery and Runes to give you that extra edge.
