Which GPU to choose?

Pandario

So my budget is 240€ (~265$) and first I thought I'd take GTX 960 4G from MSI, but as I looked up the rankings, performance seems to jump really heavily after a couple cards.(From the 960 up to the RX480). Unfortunately I cant buy the RX 480 since prices are somewhat higher in germany.

According to benchmarks the performance order is like this (scroll down to the bottom): http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Grafikkarten-Grafikkarte-97980/Specials/Rangliste-GPU-Grafikchip-Benchmark-1174201/

GTX 780 (3G)

R9 280X  (3G)

R9 380X

R9 380

GTX 960

Personally I really like shadowplay, but if the price/perfomance difference is really high I can live without it.

Any suggestions? Should I put the german prices?

TL;DR: Is it worth taking the 960 while I have 40€ more budget?

How about the GTX 1060? I believe that is around your price range? I know its more expensive in the EU so you might not be able to get it for your price range. If you can't, I would suggest the 780, but its around equal to performance as the 1060, if not worse, and the 1060 has 6G instead of 3G and is nicer tbh.

380X is not a bad option, but if you want NVIDIA then I'd get either 1060 as stated above or the 780.

The GTX 1060 loses to the GTX 980 by like a couple of frames, the 780 Ti is basicly a GTX 970 (depending on the game),i guess the 780 would be somewhere between the 960 and 970 (also depending on the game you play)

And if the RX 480 is high, then i would guess the GTX 1060 is high in terms of price
