Software Developer and Software Engineer?

Hey guys! I soon have to pick what subjects I want to do next year at school.. (well, I am being homeschooled next year so I can do programming). But anyway, I still havee to pick what subjects I have to do at home. 

So I have 2 questions:

What is the difference between a software developer and a software engineer? I can see on payscale that there is a large pay difference, but work related, what is the difference? 

Second question: These are the subjects I can pick. Please tell me which subjects I should go for to get into the programming industry:

 

I can only pick 4 subjects:

 

Accounting

Business Studies

Computer Application technologies

Design

Geography

History

Hospitality Studies

Life Sciences

Physical Sciences

Visual Art

Maths Literacy (extremely easy maths)

Maths FET (hard maths)

 

So I can only pick 4 subjects from the above. Which ones should I take to increase my chances of getting accepted into the Software industry?
