Hey peeps.

In light of what happened to my PC recently. I decided to upgrade. Yeah my R4E mobo and 3930k CPU both kicked the bucket.

My upgrade is made of the R5E USB 3.1 with 6800k CPU and Strix 1080 OC with 16gb RipjawZ 4 2400mhz. As you can tell all is black and red. PSU is and will remain since 2008 the Tt 1200W ToughPower.

What do you guys think? Will it be enough to sustain me another 4 to 5 years? My case is an ugly but functional Tt Chaser 71 case. Looking to change it when I can. I game in 1080p for now until I can afford 3x1440p 144hz monitors.

I opted for X99 for three 40 PCIe Lanes and tons of SATA.

That should last you quite a while. :) 6800k has only 28 PCIe lanes though, I assume the 40 is from chipset?

That's the goal. Which case do you recommend to keep the black and red theme? I prefer it to be all aluminum inside and out with ample room for expansion.

If you don't mind spending a few hundred dollars, look through the Lian Li cases. They're extremely good looking and all aluminum/glass. Quite pricey though.

Can't pay much. I was thinking about InWin. Something close to $70 to $100 no more. already paid $1200 for upgrade. I had to pay in installments coz no cash.

Ah ok. Also make sure you press the arrow (Quote) so I can see you replied :).

All aluminum might be hard to find at that price point. InWin 303 is pretty nice though, $90. Steel though.
