So i have been having this issue for about 3 to 4 months now. Last night I installed the newest driver for the rx480 (16.7.3 WHQL) after reboot my programs started to load went to login to steam and the entire pc froze. Rebooted the pc again only to load into the shell of my bios rebooted again and went to choose boot and my ssd (sandisk extreme 2) was not listed. Went into bios and it is not reconizing the ssd. Unpluged cables and plugged back in and it found the ssd but when i boot into windows same thing happens. If i boot into safe mode the pc works fine. So after frustration I installed windows on a 500gb hdd installed the driver again and I am not having any issues. I plugged the ssd in as a second drive and i am able to browse all files on ssd with no issues. I am at a loss also in the past I have done a secure wipe using pmagic. Any ideas. Should I send for RMA? thanks guys
