[Help] System not Posting

Hey gang.

Been a while. Am writing to ask for help. I recently bought an ASUS STRYX GTX 1080 OC. I installed it only to get debug code 00 on my R4E motherboard with it not Posting.

I tried flashing official Bios. Removing everything except CPU. Even tried the LN2 method. Nothing is working I don't even get the usual beeps when no ram is detected.

All I did was replace my 690 with new 1080. Some say debug code 00 means CPU initialization error. Others say it's not specific to anything.

My Config :

- Mobo : ASUS Rampage 4 Extreme

- CPU : Core i7 3930k

- RAM : Kingston HyperX Beast RAM 32gb DDR3

- GPU : ASUS STRYX GTX 1080 OC.

Please help!

power supply is?

did you pull half the ram?

did you uninstall the drivers for the old card first?

does it boot in safe mode?

did you try a cmos reset?

PSU is Thermaltake Tough power 1200W. Pulled half then all yes. Same drivers for both so no need to Uninstall. System doesn't post let alone boot. And yes CMOS reset does nothing.

This should mean a cpu initialization error, I would make sure the cpu is seated correctly, it may honestly help to unplug the power from the computer and let it sit for a few hours. Sorry that I couldn't be of too much help, but hope this problem gets fixed for you.
