In some titles, not all. They trade jabs back and forth. Where the RX480 will win is in games that use Async Computing since AMD has it on the hardware level, while Nvidia does it in the software/driver level.

Why does the power supply have to be 650W if you're getting a GTX 1060? The build will realistically only consume about 300W or so.

Here is a link to a post with a PSU Tier list, You should try and get one off Tier 1 or Tier 2. PSU's are one thing you do NOT want to skimp on as it could cause a whole host of issues.
