Windows 10 Communication Sound

ConiferousJelly

So me and my friend were wanting to skype today, but he wasn't hearing the sound from me. I went to echo, and I heard myself, so it wasn't my issue (At least I don't think) So we wen't on to discord, still couldn't hear me but discord could pickup my mic. Same issue with team speak. I checked his volume mixer and all of that and Skype wasn't muted, and he says that he can hear system sounds and game sounds. We tried everything and he still can't hear communication sounds.

So I ask:

Since they all are picking up my voice and echo even repeats it to me, can it be my fault? How do I fix it if it is or what is something I can try.

and what can I tell him to do on his end, to try to make it work?

Thanks in Advanced,
