HTC 10 Underpowered?

I just got my HTC 10 yesterday and I'm noticing some lag right away, I get quite a bit of stuttering when I scroll, the phone is very hard to use while apps are updating because of lag, gaming performance isn't better than my note 5 was even though the adreno 530 is supposed to be an upgrade, my antutu score was also lower than it was supposed to be and overall the UI just doesn't feel fluid/60fps. I've tried disabling some of the sprint bloat. I've also tried wiping everything and installing a custom ROM, but I still was getting the same bad performance. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd take it back to where ever you got and demonstrate the problem to the salesman or manager.

 

You might want to see if it's thermal throttling, as that's the only thing (beside being defective) I can think of that would be cause a new phone to do this.

I still have the 14 day exchange no questions asked thing so I'll probably take it back for an s7 or a g5 . Pretty bummed about this though.

I just got an S7 and couldn't be happier, so I fully recommend it.
