Should I order the founders edition? I am tired of waiting for a card I like to go on sale, and I want to order the card today so I can it by the end of the week.

If you can get your hands on a PNY card, I'd go for it. The text on the fans is yellow/orange though.

I wouldn't worry about the "looks" since you will be staring at the monitor when you play a game, not the gpu.

So long as the cooling is great.

Why would any one want teh Fanboy Edition? err sorry, Founder's Edition. ^^

It's a normal, plain simple Reference Design. Loud and Hot.

 

Just Nvidia named it "Founder's Edition", pushed the Price up, and so many people out there are retarded enough to actually buy it, and pay the "early adopter special bonus price" for a worse Product.

 

The whole Founder's Edition thing is the eprfect example, how Marketing has to be done. The guy who came up with this, deserves a HUGE salary increase lol.

 

 

Do yourself a Favour, and get a good Custom design. It's MUCH Cooler, quieter, and even cheaper.

For example, one of the cheapest and still Very good: EVGA SC (not the 10 bucks cheaper basic)

I guess Nvidia is quite smart when it comes to making money.

Perhaps AMD should take note so they won't continue to go broke.

Also, I ended up ordering the Gigabyte G1 Gaming version but thanks for your help.
