Hi guys,

 

So I am building a PC and am planning to overclock and play games moderately. Which is best for the money? The Asus MAXIMUS VIII RANGER or Asus Z170 PRO GAMING. They are both reasonably good and both overclockable. Which one would you choose?

if I had to choose.. the Ranger most likely. But I build with MSI boards personally.

Id say the Z170 Pro Gaming, if you want to save a couple bucks instead of spending for more features on the Maximus.

I like the MSI boards, nicer looking than Asus.
