Hi, my friend and I want to purchase a mechanical keyboard after trying them out at a store. After research, i would like to get a keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switch. However, there are so many options. I personally would like a TKL keyboard, so i was thinking between the Vortex Poker 3 or the Filco Majestouch 2 TKL. I don't know which ones better and they are quite similar in price. Which one would be better?

Also for the Vortex there seems to be two different model with different keycaps, PBT and ABS Dual coating. Which one is better?

My friend also likes the Cherry MX Blue switches but he wants a full size keyboard, he likes the tidy, office look so he likes the Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate with blank keycaps, or the Cooler Master Masterkeys L with RGB lighting.

Could i get some help choosing between these keyboards for my friend and myself? I do not know which one is better. Me and my friend are probably going for quality over anything else.

The 2 kb you link is not TKL, those are 60% boards without the arrow keys, purely for typing.

And need more details on what you need.

TKL? 60%? Need lighting?

As for your friend, any of those 2 are fine, Das if he don't care about backlight, Masterkeys L if he wants the bling.

Why not you two take the Masterkeys Pro S and L and call it a day.

Oh, then sorry i like the 60% look. I don't particularly care about lighting, just quality and feel. Why is the ABS dual coating slightly more expensive? Is it due to having backlighting? Also i just particularly like those two, they just don't feel "gamey".

I don't think he wouldn't mind not having lighting if the Das is better quality, but since no info on them, can't judge.

I stongly recommend Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE uses the new cherry mx  switches  the cherry mx speeds that have 1.2mm activation point, instead of the 2.0mm activation point. but you said

So here's the entire list of PCpartpicker.  if you didn't know this site, is a cool site that let's you plan a build of a pc.

And here's my recomendations:

1. My strong recommendation is the Corsair K70 Standard

2. Corsair STRAFE RGB

3. Ducky Ducky Shine 5 RGB

and the Logitech G710

Sorry, even though they might be better, i really like the feel of the Cherry MX Blue, if its similar then i will have to try it and see. But i've never tried the Speeds before because it wasn't shown at the store.

MX Speed is just MX Red on steroid.

If you don't like Red then you won't like Speed.

Yea, to be honest, after just searching it up, i don't mind TKL or 60%, both are nice. The reason i'm going for the Filco or Vortex is that they look pretty high quality and is not the main stream brands. What i'm unsure is that i don't know which one is made from premium materials.

My friend works at home so loudness doesn't matter, he just likes the typing experience of Blue keys. While he does like the RGB, he said he wouldn't take them over a better quality product.

Whats the difference between PBT and ABS keycaps? Just letting light through on ABS?

In my opinion, i think the Vortex is better than the Filco, Filco has cheap keycaps, and nothing really special about it, you might as well go for the Masterkeys S with the RGB if your thinking of Filco. Also for Vortex, go for the PBT keycaps one. Backlighting isn't that important, PBT keycaps are thicker and feels better when you type on them.

As for your friend, Das 4 is a very good keyboard, i've used them. I can't say how Masterkeys are, i don't think they will be better quality than Das though.
