you cant overclock a 6500 so theres no point in getting an aftermarket cooler or a z170 board. the psu is pretty overpriced, and for the same cost, you could get an evga g2 550W (http://pcpartpicker.com/product/qYTrxr/evga-power-supply-220g20550y1). you should also replace the ssd, since it has poor performance compared to other products (such as the sp550 or trion 150)

This is the build that I am thinking about getting and doing as a summer project as well as a gaming station. It will not be my primary computer, just a gaming station. I have a temp card already, until i can save for a 1070.

Looks pretty good, couple of suggested edits is

1- get a cheaper MOBO, buying a z170 chipset board is a waste of Money becuase the 6500 is a locked processor.

2- get a bigger ssd, at least 250gb. 120 fills up very fast.

Pretty much what they said above. Other than that looks pretty good.

1. I would recommend you go for a cheaper MOBO. Asus has pretty bad customer service although there stuff is nice its up to you though.

Also with that in mind if you don't go for a Z170 (because 6500 is locked) might want to look into another CPU or even new chipset depending on what motherboard you go for.

2. Like bigibbz said get a bigger SSD with at least 250GB especially if you plan on throwing your OS on the SSD. I bought a 120GB SSD a long time a go and threw the OS on it and man it fills up very very fast and you have to almost disk clean the drive every time.
