Dear fellow pcmr/linuslovers

I call upon your help once again.

At work i have been asked to devise a way to change permissions on Outlook desktop client.

We all use the same login to access the client so I am not even sure there is any way to do this.

We have three work stations all running win10 (if it makes a difference) that access the same email. Ideally we want to have one computer have master access where they can see every folder, and the other two remaining work stations on see select folder.

This is due to sensitive information coming through the email that we would like to keep away the two other work stations.

How can i lock folders to be hidden on two machines, the folder can be visible to them but not the contents. Maybe some sort of password protection or something of that like.

Cheers to every one who has a stab at this.

P.S The cake is a lie.

build it beaurtiful

I think it'd be better to create new email addresses, and create rules on the master email address to redirect the emails to the correct users.

So you have a few email addresses:

master@domain.com

folder1@domain.com

folder2@domain.com

Every email comes in at master@domain.com. The email client that manages master@domain.com has some rules:

Forward mails in folder1 to folder1@domain.com

Forward mails in folder2 to folder2@domain.com

I hope I'm clear!
