So I currently have an internet connection of ruffly 8mb down and 0.3 up. My old PC i3 540 @ 3.9ghz, 8gb of ram and gtx 660 (Oced) is gonna get retired and I will possibly have a poweredge 2950 and a HP prolient G5 dual quad core 16gb of ram. So I have a slow internet connection and dont know what to do with this hardware, I dont need an NAS and Dont pay for by Electricty bills.

I'm not really sure what you are asking....

That being said, your internet speed is irrelevant for a NAS while you are connected to the same network, as files do not go over the internet. However, accessing things from outside your home network, things will be painfully slow.

When in doubt, re-format.

Im asking what can I do with this hardware since my connection is so slow, I know internet is irrelevant for a nas but I dont need one.

Yeah thats not really usefull thoug, I only made about 1$ on my pc and it consumed around 1,20$ of electricty a day

Coin mining is useless with normal hardware nowadays. You could though donate your extra CPU power to Folding@Home. After all, you did say you don't pay for electricity.
