Custom Headphones

Is it possible for me to build my own headphones and if I can, would I have to get drivers from another pair of headphones or is the anywhere I can buy them?

You can buy headphone drivers on sites like eBay and AliExpress. 

 

However, building your own headphones isn't as easy as buying drivers and just building an enclosure to put them in. 

There are a bunch of other things to consider, such as the acoustic properties of the enclosure, the amount of space the drivers need, etc. 

 

You can ask @spwath. He has a dream of one day building his own headphones.
