it seems to be the cheapest one out there but it also seems to be good i am also thinking about buying it to substitute my asus 1080p 144hz g-sync (i have switched from nvidia to amd so it will also be nice due to fresync )

Welcome to AMD! :D JK i dont mind nvidia. The LG has also freesync but i grew not to like ultrawide, dont know why. Maybe bcs i have one 1440p monitor and i love it :)

From what i found its not only the cheapest but almost the best one out there. The best is almost 50% more expensive

yeah currently the 1440 144hz freesync monitor are all a bit too pricy but i think that they are also relatively new so that might be the reason of their price and maybe they will go down a bit in a couple of months maybe holiday. anyway i feel the same about ultrawide i dont ever see me gaming in 21.9 monitor is way to big verticaly. if the rx490 comes out and its actualy good like a better than the 1070 but a bit worse than the 1080 that would be realy nice and everyone could take advantage of both the 1440 and 144hz

depends on the games you play as i said i want to use it for CS:GO. There i have with r9 290x easily 400+ frames so its not a problem on 1440p and i am planning an upgrade to CF r9 290x :) So that will be something :)

yeah i also have the r9 290 sapphire and it runs csgo really well but for games like witcher 3 mgs 5 phantom pain and stuff like that its hard to have everything on max 1080p and run more than 60 fps

well even for setups with 2gpus its hard to run these games on more than 60fps if you crankk multisampling and antialiasing to the highest...
