Quick 1070 question

you probably want a solid power supply that can do twice the wattage of your CPU and Graphic card combined on the 12V rail. So in the case of the 1070 and your 4790, you're looking at probably 250 watts under heavy load, so you want a 550 watt name brand Power supply at least, like EVGA, Corsair, etc.. If the power supply doesn't come with two eight pins, it may either be old (with only six pin connectors that you'll need 8-pin adapters for), or you need a better power supply.

It came with the right connectors, I have 650 available, might as well use it

If u dont plug both the GPU wont get enough power and will run (if it runs...) at much lower speeds (If it even runs at all).

Ok haha I just didn't want to do anything wrong. Not afraid to ask dumb questions if it saves me from frying my build
