Hi all, wondering if anyone could help me?

I've been playing Witcher 3 now for a while on the GTX 1080 Strix with some impressive settings @ 4K with no issues at all, I recently upgraded and installed another card running in SLI with the new Nvidia HB SLI bridge. Cranked it all up and maxed at 4K I was getting well over 70+ FPS so I was impressed as a moment went on I started to notice some kind of micro-stutter, very small but I can notice it. The FPS counter isn't jumping around it hold when these small stutters occur. Other games work fine such a GTA V, Hitman, ARMA and so on. Just Witcher 3 and only now?

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks.

Any specific events that trigger the stuttering? shortly after installing my 1070 i noticed a stutter every time I would strike an enemy. I believe it was actually just a matter of overclock unstability though. Witcher 3 is a very picky game when it comes to overclocking.

It just seems to be every 20 seconds or so I will get a small stutter. I haven't got anything overclocked, just the 1080's in SLI

The OP got the highest end card already, but with an extra one lol.

I've never had micro stuttering issues. Have you tested with all settings as low as they can go? You can also try different modes for the cards to run in.

Thats the price if you want overhyped 4k when 1440p is more than enough.
