No, it won't bottleneck.

EDIT: And NO you should NOT buy the 960. At the moment it represents one of the worst values when you can get a 380/380x for the same price and get much better performance in dx11 and especially dx12.

Hi

I am thinking about buying these 2 components

i5 6500

(Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB)

Will this bottleneck my computer for 1080p gaming or is the CPU and or Graphics card overkill? Or should i go with a 6500 GTX 960 combo?

Probably not.

I would recommend a different motherboard. Since you do not have a K cpu, a z series motherboard is unnecessary. I would look for a non-z option with built in wifi so you don't have to run a PCIe wifi adapter. You can also save a couple bucks by not getting the cooler since you wont be overclocking the CPU. That being said, still a good looking build.

When in doubt, re-format.
