Like Wi-Fi I dont understand? its like we can plug in internet on 8 PCs but no wifi? Only cable?

wifi is wireless, as the switch you asked about is a wired network connection.

wireless requires a wireless access point to connect to the switch/router and the PC needs a wireless point to send/receive from the WAP.

It's cable only, it allows for easy management of data on a network by being able to decide which device on the network receives data sent over the network instead of having all the devices receive the same data. They are mainly used on servers and large wired home networks.
