How do I use a keycap puller

Bob Jim
Go to solution Solved by YubinTheBunny,

Yup, it just hooks on the edge of the keycap and you just pull. But with some keyboards be careful around the long keys like the space, shift and enter as those keys have a stabilizing bar underneath them that could snap if you pull it too far out. (You would have to unhook the bars first.)

So I have just recieved my corsair k70 rgb lux in the post, and wouild like to try out the fps keycaps. How do i use the keycap puller? Do I literally just put the hooks around the edge and pull? It just feels like that might break it. Any typosyou see in this posty blame on the fact that i dont know the keyboard layout yet lol. thanks for help.

Shove it in and pull it out.

That's the bad part about plastic keycap puller, they tend to scratch the keycap.

Wire keycap puller is better.
