workstations with 2 cpu for rendering

Hey guys,

 

I am an animator and decide to build my own machine, i know there is a lot of article out there but i didnt find something simple lead me for what i need. I care about cpu & gpu rendering for maya and VFX software, so first thing is what i really need more core or speed clock? specially i will have 2 CPU that i will invest in, i am not gamer at all i think ps4 in fair enough for game on my opinion and for my uses. please guys help to figure this mathematics issue.
