If you want to find Amazon links for all the items yeah and why not go with the 1600 MHz ram

Ok, here is the list with upgraded cpu and ram.

CPU: https://www.amazon.com/Intel-I3-4160-Processor-Hyper-Threading-BX80646I34160/dp/B00LV8U0VE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469530610&sr=8-1

Motherboard: https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Micro-DDR3-Motherboards-B85M-DGS/dp/B00MI8D2O8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531609&sr=8-1

RAM: https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-FURY-1600MHz-DDR3/dp/B00J8E9334/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531684&sr=8-1

Hard drive: https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Cache-Desktop-Drive-WD10EZEX/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531799&sr=8-1

Case: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-Spec-03-Computer-Case/dp/B00LITHMRG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531834&sr=8-2

Power supply:  https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CX500-Supply-Bronze-Certified/dp/B0092ML0MY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531902&sr=8-1

CPU Cooler: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469531938&sr=8-1

NOTE: There is no graphics card in this list because I think that the ideal GPU for you would be the RX 460 that is not available yet. If you want to buy the parts early, they would all work and you can run the graphics off the CPU until the graphics card is released, for not great gaming, but you do get to have a next gen gpu when it is released.

Rumoured gpu specs:

amd_rx_460__470__480_release_date__price

You can, if you want, not buy the CPU Cooler and run the CPU under the stock fan that comes in the box, but me, being obsessed with lower temperatures, could not see someone getting a new computer without considering a nice fan.

The graphics card will cost around $100, and the total cost WITHOUT the gpu (including the CPU cooler) is $431.84.

Hey I'm looking to build a gaming PC on a budget but I don't know how to start. What I'm looking for a 64-bit 4 core CPU at a clock speed of 2.5GHz and 8GB of RAM DDR3 or DDR4 a decent GPU and a 1TB HDD and a decent sound card is optional and a 64-bit version of Windows 7 But I don't know what brand of CPU or what motherboard or the case to get.

P.s I will get Windows 7 because Minecraft doesn't work on Windows 10 :/

P.P.s The budget for the build is ~$300 to ~$500 USD

Minecraft works on windows 10. Screenshot. Who told you that it does not work on Windows 10?

b0bc415aad.png

You can buy relatively cheap ddr3 supporting dual core intel processors with clock speeds around 3ghz. I can create a list of parts you should get:

I think the Pentium G3258 would work, not a new cpu, but a cheap one that will run Minecraft great.

http://ark.intel.com/products/82723/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G3258-3M-Cache-3_20-GHz

For a motherboard, i would look at the brand ASRock because they do a lot of fairly cheap LGA1150 motherboards. Here is one that would work.

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/B85M-DGS/index.us.asp

For the ram, you should get something like Kingston FURY 1333mhz. 8gb should be more than enough. https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-FURY-2x4GB-1333MHz/dp/B00J8E91K4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469528293&sr=8-1&keywords=HX313C9FBK2%2F8

For the gpu, I think that you should wait for the RX 460 to be available, because buying a 4gb RX 480 might be too expensive. The 460 should be around $100.

WD Blue 1TB seems like enough.

https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Cache-Desktop-Drive-WD10EZEX/dp/B0088PUEPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469528480&sr=8-1&keywords=wd+blue+1tb

The case is all about what you like. I think you should go for a Corsair Carbide Spec-03.

https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Carbide-Spec-03-Computer-Case/dp/B00LITHMRG/ref=sr_1_9?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1469528662&sr=1-9&keywords=corsair+case+spec

For the power supply, 500w should be more than enough, A Corsair CX should work fine.

https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CX500-Supply-Bronze-Certified/dp/B0092ML0MY/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1469528779&sr=1-1&keywords=cx500

If you want to save a bit of money, using the stock cooler is an option, but i always recommend buying a Hyper 212 EVO because it is a very high performing cooler for a low price.

https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1469528861&sr=1-1&keywords=hyper+212+evo

That brings it up to about $400. Reply with your thoughts.

I was talking about the Minecraft you buy on the Mojang  website which is $26 USD not the Windows 10 app from Microsoft's app store.

P.s I found out myself with my laptop which is currently broken when it switch to Windows 10 and Minecraft had horrible FPS like 10 to 15 but when I run it on Windows 8.1 or on Windows 7 it runs at 60 FPS . Btw thank you for the parts list

Minecraft works just fine on Windows 10 without any issues.

Also, you do not need a sound card, especially if you're on a budget. The motherboard sound should do just fine.

If $500 is your budget, then you're going to want to go AMD. You're not going to get a new quad-core Intel CPU to fit in this budget easily (without going over by about $70 or foregoing a discrete graphics card), though you can get a dual-core Intel CPU like an i3 or Pentium. You may also want to consider the used market - getting everything new is expensive, though be careful if you do get used stuff.

Please reply to me by quoting me, or i do not get a notification.

I bought Minecraft from minecraft.net in like 2010, and since then have had no problems running it on any operating system. You were probably running it at a low framerate because you had a 32bit version of Java. Minecraft will always work on every operating system that supports Java, as long as you install it properly.

Nice, actually, if you have any spare money, i would upgrade the processor to an i3 like this one.

https://www.amazon.com/Intel-I3-4160-Processor-Hyper-Threading-BX80646I34160/dp/B00LV8U0VE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469530610&sr=8-1&keywords=i3+1150

This cpu is quite a lot faster than the Pentium because it uses Hyper Threading. It also supports 1600mhz ram.

Just make sure that you don't accidentally buy 2 cpus.

The only extra RAM I have is 2 DDR2 2 GB RAM sticks but I do like the CPU you recommend the i3 one Btw you also got most if not all of the parts on Amazon which is what I use anyways.

I can find Amazon links for all of the items if you want. DDR2 sticks would not work with this build. I was thinking of swapping the 1333mhz ram sticks with 1600mhz ones because the i3 cpu supports it.

Ok, here is the list with upgraded cpu and ram.

just the sale of it, you'll need a perscription to get it here(medicinal gum only). very hard to get gum that isn't from overseas so its almost like an actual ban.
