Ducky Shine 3 - YOTS (Cherry MX Green) - need help finding!

Hi guys!

 

I am requesting help in finding this keyboard that i've been searching for, and to which i cannot find unfortunately! I've looked and looked but every place i could find online either had none, and have been like this since the launch! I was wondering if somebody could help me track down a site or can direct me to a place where i could purchase this keyboard (as i am from Australia)! This will be my first mechanical keyboard i would personally own! Any help would be appreciated! Also, any alternative green switch keyboards with similar features will be helpful :)

 

The keyboard is:

 

Ducky Shine 3 - Year of the snake (any led colour, but i have only seen them in green) with Cherry MX Green switches!

 

The SKU is DK9008S3-GUSALAAG1

 

I know NCIX is selling them, but only in back order, and who knows when they will get some! (They've been holding that status for the keyboard for a long time now).

 

Once again, any help would be appreciated!

I think that the year of the snake was a special edition.

I like your avatar of Omar haha, but i was hoping not to hear that! I really want the Green MX switch! And the features the YOTS one included, especially with the LEDs was cool! Recommend any alternatives?

Im not really that good with the keyboard stuff :(

I have a blackwidow with MX Blues though.

Check eBay. They have quite a lot of mx green keyboards. (eBay UK link)

Yep, you're going to have a hard time trying to get a DS3 MX Green, it is NOT a YOTS edition btw. A DS3 YOTS looks like the one below:

YOTS keyboards have aluminum cases, not the regular plastic ones.....just clearing a misconception. Best of luck getting a DS3 MX Green though.....NCIX has them on back order though. Oh another thing, YOTS is available in only Red, Black, Blue and Brown.

I'm pretty sure MX Green Year of the Snakes' are now sold out. You could try to get a normal Shine 3.

I don't think there had ever been a YOTS MX Green, from what I'd been told by the local distributor in my neck of the woods, only four switch types are available....red, black, blue and brown. AFAIK, there has never been an MX Green YOTS....still, I could be wrong, any link to a YOTS MX Green?

There will be Ducky Shine 3 GOLD Anodized Aluminum with MX Greens. 

Afaik should be availible in like a month  :)

The MX green shine 3´s are in stock at mechanicalkeyboards.com they arrived just a few days ago.
There are just two backlight options (blue and white) available right now but I personally don't really border about the led color as MX greens are rare at the moment.
I also had an Shine 3  MX green green LED on Backorder at NCIX I just canceled it, got my refund an bought a blue LED version here: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=666
