Hello,

I just wanted to ask your opinions - I've been PC gaming for roughly 3 years now and have always played on my 1080p 40 Inch TV. I am hoping to change this and pick up a smaller G-Sync monitor. Problem is I can't decide between the two below. I love to push my hardware to get every ounce of visual quality out of them! I mainly play MMO's & RPG's ,however, I do occasionally play Overwatch, Star Wars Battlefront, Battlefield - Very casually.

I'm not really sure which monitor would best suit me, I hear a lot about how awesome gaming with high refresh rates is, but I don't play many shooters so is this really applicable to me? On the other hand the monitor is still a visual upgrade from the 1080p TV I currently use. However...4K... I know my hardware can't run all games at 4K, but I would like to think it's capable of holding a steady 60fps past 1440p.

Also, how does a G-Sync monitor feel when the framerate drops below 60? I find it very noticeable on my TV.

The main specs of my PC - I7 6700K, GTX 980 Ti Hybrid SLI, 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3000Mhz & Asus Hero VIII - Nothing overclocked although the GPU's & CPU do run higher than the base clock due to being water cooled.

Which do you guys think? If you own either of them please share your opinion - It's most welcome!

Kind regards,
