First Mechanical Keyboard -- What do Get

Hello all! I was looking at two keyboards to purchase for my rig. Either the Corsair K70 RGB (Brown Switches) or the Corsiar K70 RGB LUX (Brown Switches). The Lux is around ten U.S dollars cheaper, though it comes with this odd "gamer" font that reminds me of Razer's old keyboard on their Blade laptops. Beyond the key caps, are their any discernible differences between these two keyboards?

Looks like the main differences are an improved lighting controller, the font, as well as a USB passthrough.

I thought the original also had a USB passthrough though? Furthermore, what would the point be of not getting the lux when it has these bonus features along with being cheaper?

The original (non-rgb) had usb passthru.

I think the point is that the LUX is the new version? I dunno, hadn't heard of it before I just googles it today.

Yeah when I was looking for the K70 I found the LUX and Corsair doesn't do a good job showcasing the difference between them.
