Hello i am hitting 80c on my Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9770, it is running at 4312mhz with a Coolermaster 212.

Core i7 6700k @ 4800mhz 1.33v * 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX @ 3000mhz * ASUS Z170-A * Corsair H100i * ASUS GTX 1080 STRIX @ 2100mhz * XFX Pro Black Edition 80+ Gold 850w * Phanteks ECLIPSE P400S * AOC U2879VF 28" 4K

Full load. If i game it get's to 72ish. 80c if i render video.

The Tcase for the cpu is 56C measured on the heat spreader if it is under that it should be fine.

You can also see if it is thermal throttling if the clock speeds are reducing under high temps.

It don't throttle at any time. 56c is really the maximum?

The 56C max is measured at the top of the heatspreader under the cpu heatsink, not the core temp.

Oh, so the readings i got from core temp application are ok then? It says on that my Tjmax is 95c.
