Hello folks^^

Not sure if here is the right place to post but i have a question regarding my pc... atm i have:

  • a Intel Quad Q6600 (running at stock speed)
  • 8 gb ram ddr2
  • Ati Hd5670 1gb from
  • MotherBoard Asus Pk5c

I know it's not the most brilliant machine out but served me well (and still does) for my photoshop , adobe illustrator ,sony vegas works.
My question is... I would like to do some gaming on it , mostly fighting games like Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd and now the upcoming Tekken 7, considering these games aren't like the most demanding (i think) can i just upgrade the graphic card and be able to run them at 1080p60? And which one to choose?

Edit: i  am looking for a quiet gpu :) since my hd5670 is really quiet

Thanks in advance :)

Seems like you are not going to go ham with gaming, so I recommend something like a 750, it draws power from pcie bus, couldn't make a noise even if it wanted too, unless the fan is busted or ... anyway get one of those cheap 100 dollar ones you will be fine

I say a gtx 950. Some will say its "overkill" and just get a 750 but if you buy it new now you'll have a perfectly good card for when you do a mobo/CPU upgrade. Besides the bottlenecking isn't "oh my cpu can't keep up with the GPu" it'll just be the CPU not keeping up with the game. Which will be fine for your games I think. Having even a 1080 with it won't "hurt" anything, you just don't get oys full potential
