Internet Randomly Disconnects

Go to solution Solved by Bonsai99,

Hello all, this is my first post here :)

Starting around a week ago, I changed my wireless' network name and then 2 days later my internet starts to randomly disconnect (once a day at no specific time) from my desktop which required me to restart my router and modem.

When I used the troubleshooter, every time it says that the router or modem is unable to connect to the internet.

The only think I know is that my router is a Dlink WBR-2310 and my modem is a Motorola Surfboard SB5100.

Please help

Reset router to factory settings and start fresh, that sometimes helps.

Edit: You could probably upgrade the firmware as well http://support.dlink.ca/ProductInfo.aspx?m=WBR-2310

Are you using a wifi adapter on your PC? or is your router connected right into your computer? If its an adapter, post the model and make.
