Ok so I just changed some bios settings and now my pc turns on but dosn't get any signal to the monitor, I'm starting to panic to be honest. Will resseting the bios fix this? Any help would be so appritiated you don't even know!

Thanks a trillion

Yeah, don't panic. Unplug the power lead from the wall/psu then remove the cell battery from the mobo and leave it out for a minute or two. Replace it and it should fire back up :)

Turn off your PC and disconnect the power. Then open up your case and remove the CMOS battery, then wait 30 seconds and put the CMOS battery back in. Should work by then.

You'll be fine with no static ground.

It will probably work, if it doesn't then there's something wrong with your mobo.

Ok thank yoi indubitably xD Final question: are there other methods and by the way my build is: lga 775 with a 680i SLI chipset, q6600 and 8gb ddr2 if the platform makes a difference?
