I was wondering how reputable of a brand is Palit exactly? I'm looking at their gtx 1060 Dual and was curious about the reputation of this brand and this cooler, seeing as it's significantly cheaper than any other model (aside from the ASUS turbo). Does anybody know anything? Thanks in advance!

I ordered one yesterday, so I can tell you in two days :D. I liked the cheaper price for a nice looking and hopefully performing cooler.

Hah, I'll make sure to remember to ask you about it then! I was thinking that since the gtx 1060 is a rather cool running card even if this cooler is slightly worse than a twin frozr or jetstream or any other more popular cooler, it shouldn't impact the performance significantly.

I'm just curious as to why you went with the gtx 1060 over the r9 480. I honestly still am not sure which card to go for since, from what I've understood, it boils down to if you think that vulkan and dx 12 will be quickly embraced by developers and whether you plan on utilizing two cards at once.

If I were you I would just buy based on price as the difference in performance in DX12 and Vulkan will probably be minimal. At present I don't think there are any custom 480's though and I wouldn't recommend a reference one.

As for the Palit card, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if it's cheaper than the other custom coolers since it's cooling performance is just behind the MSI one and it remains silent going by the guru3d review.

Thanks for your input! However you're looking at the wrong model, we're talking about the palit dual, not jetstream/super jetstream.

It is however the 4gb mode lso it's to be expected. Where I live it'll cost an extra 50 gbp probably Also is your profile icon something by Raven Kwok?

You tend to not find new products at MSRP for like a month or 2 after release. And considering the fact that most of the reference 480s are going for more than that... And yes, yes it is :P
