Rubberbanding

So 2 or 3 days ago, I began to experience major rubberbanding on CSGO. Had a 20-30 ping and 150-250 fps. So, most likely not hardware. However, I am on wifi (using wifi dongle with 150mbps max) with a 45mbps down and 8 mbps up. Never had any kind of lag before, and now its every game I go into. I have changed all the rates and update rates to no avail. I also have up to date drivers. My isp is Cox. Any ideas on what I should do to fix the rubberbanding (no packet loss, just some 3-10% choke)? Help is greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this helps at all but I have also been having about 30ms ping spikes randomly recently with spikes into the 200s. It creates horrible rubber banding when you spike from 60ms to 90ms in a second then back down to 60ms.

Packet loss and induced delay because of WiFi. Solution? Don't play on WiFi, or optimize your wireless and ensure you are operating and the most open channel available. It probably won't completely solve your problem, but it might make things better.

Which Wifi-Band are you using (5G or 2.4G) do you have a dect phone (very close to 2.4G) that might kill your signal.

SO. I got a new wifi adapter (I had a cheap ass one) called the Netgear W something or another. It uses 5ghz and 2.4 ghz. Doubled my internet speed and fixed lag.
