Here are a few names I came up with for the new Titan GPU that was announced yesterday(please correct me on that)

GTX TITAN Ti

GTX TITAN Y (this is so comfortable, I don't know why)

GTX TITAN WHITE

GeForce GT Titan (i know the GT side of cards are meant to be low

Titan GT

Titan XP (from the wan show)

NEWVIDIA GTX TITAN X (lol)

Well, since it's not the Titan P which is still on the way. I'd call it the 1080ti.

This is an enthusiast grade card, hence the name Titan. All Ti cards (except for maybe a gtx titan ti) are still in the range of people looking for standard grade cards. I'm gibberish myself

Being in range is subjective. Do you own a car? Do you know how much money that costs? I don't own a car but I'm looking at getting this card. After the x70 I see things more about performance than price. The x70 and below should be obtainable by those looking to not make their rig a priority. Above that all bets are off.

It actually makes more sense to call it the Titan X with Pascal as X=10

 

But officially the Maxwell was the GTX Titan X, while the Pascal is just the Titan X.

Good catch. Nvidia's own website lists the new titan as the Nvidia Titan X, and the Maxwell Titan as the GTX Titan X, so definitely confirmed.

Honestly it is confusing, they were definitely lazy to stick to the old name not creating a new hype train name , Would've loved the name Titan XP or Titan XX
