So I want to get a laptop specifically for web development so here is a list of features I'm looking at:

  1. 14 inch screen. 13 at the smallest: I just hate tiny screens.
  2. Able to at least dual if not triple boot OSX, Win10 and Linux
  3. SSD would be nice but I have a spare one or can buy another one
  4. IPS screen for color accuracy. I'm not a graphic designer myself but I need to be able to review work with designers and such so it would Help a lot
  5. Lightweight: Maybe not "ultrabook" status but enough to carry it around with ease
  6. Battery life of say 6 hours would be nice, could settle for a bit less
  7. Performance and Price: If I can get away with virtualization on it great however I want something at around 400 to 800 bucks mark not higher.

What do you guys think? I'm thinking maybe a macbook 13 inch but it's a bit on the expensive side and I don't know if you can boot Windows on it (I know Linux does work however)

A 13" MacBook Pro would be a solid choice, and worth the premium (they last forever and a day). Why are you set on triple booting?

I'm not set but I want to be able to look at things on all 3 main oses (Well OSX and Windows mostly, Linux I just want because it's so much easier to move around the command line over there specially when dealing with LAMP servers and such) I also will be needing to get an iPhone and a Windows 10 phone and make sure design is consistent across all devices but well that's a different topic altogether.

The websites render the same across OS's, your only concern will be IE and Edge suppoert. I suggest just sticking with OS X or Linux to be honest as it's a much better environment to work in. They're largely the same, but you should decide now which one you want. OS X is easy to deal with but Linux has a lot of potential for quality of life (tiling window manager etc). You can get a tiling WM ish setup on OS X but from my experience it's more trouble than helpful. If you do decide to go with Linux, I would stay away from MacBooks as the high DPI screens complicate running Linux quite a bit.

(I'd also bury the LAMP stack in the backyard and look into either ASP.NET, MEAN or Django)
