So I'm planning on building a new pc for myself that will last be through college. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZCsyXH here is the pc part picker list for it, i already has a h100i and a 750 w corsair 80+ gold psu and will go with either a 1070 or a 1080. I plan in building this pc sometime near Christmas this year. I think i have everything figured out except for one thing, i don't want to buy a new os and am not sure how to transfer the os fro may current hdd to the ssd i will be getting. Please let me know how i could do this and feel free to comment on my build. The i7 must stay same with the ram.

good build
Unfortunately you need to do a fresh install of windows
the Boot Drive will be expecting your old system's motherboard bootup/drivers etc. i cant imagine it would work

Your build is well over $2000
I imagine you can spend another $35 and buy a Win10 key from https://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/comments/4tpdic/h_microsoft_windows_108817_office_2016/

Everything looks good.

As far as the OS, you have to check if it's an OEM or Free license. If it's OEM, you'll have to buy another key (from dealscube or kinguin). If it's free, you just need to reactivate.
