@ARikozuM quoting is messed up so i cant directly quote you but what do you mean "There won't be degradation due to the "ancient" 8350 but don't get something sub-par just because it might be under-utilized for now."

Some Intel (I'm one but...) fans might say that the 8350 will "bottleneck" a 1060, but that should not hold you back from buying what's best now and getting a better path for later.

With the launch of the gtx 1060 and rx 480, i was wondering which would be better suited with my cpu (FX 8350) I am saving up for a new gpu because it would take much longer for me to upgrade to an intel platform. My current gpu is a...gt 730 2gb ddr3... Which of these gpus (rx 480/gtx 1060) would be better suited with my cpu? I play mostly Fallout 4, cs go, minecraft, gmod, beamng etc. at 1080p. thanks!

I would get whichever does best in your games. There won't be degradation due to the "ancient" 8350 but don't get something sub-par just because it might be under-utilized for now.

I would personally go with the 1060, but do check reviews. JayzTwoCents just did a review if I recall correctly.
