I noticed that im suddenly getting small fps drop/stuttering in games like dota 2, tf2, rainbow six siege 6 etc. sometimes its so bad that i goes down to 45 fps. I have Vsync enable in every game cuz i dont need more fps. I like it at 60 fps. I also have Freesync enable in Radeon-Settings. My rig should nail all of this game even with vsync. I used to get 60 fps with no issue when vsync was enabled but now suddenly most of my games get this small fps drop (60 fps to 50-57) and its annoying as hell. When i disable vsync i get more fps  but then gameplay seems very sluggish/choppy compared to when vsync is on. Been like this for a week now.

Can anyone help me?

Small frame drops of 3-10FPS are normal when Vsync and Freesync are enabled.

Turn V-sync off and use only Free-sync. V-sync limits your fps to 30 as soon as you drop below 60.

What game is it? And what CPU?

Right now i tested it on Rainbow Six Siege. I got 70-120 fps (most setting on medium) but after gaming for about an hour and half the fps started to hover between 47-80. Havent checked it on Dota 2, Tf2 or other games yet so i will try that too.

The CPU is FX 8320 (stock speed). Why i dont think its the CPU is because i didnt have this problem before and it should be able to run games like tf2 and dota 2 and even rainbow six siege on medium setting without any fps drop.

It sounds like overheating. Check your CPU temps. FX8 must remain under 67*C at all times, GPU max is 85*C

So i disabled the fan speed on Radeon-settings and downloaded msi afterburned and made a fan cruve to make the GPU  temp lower. For now i played TF2 and had no fps drop or stutter whatsoever. Seems like it solved the problem. Im going to try it on rainbow six siege. If it work on Rainbow six siege then i will mark your suggestion as "solved". Thanks for the help!

What GPU vendor did you buy from? I know the Asus model had heat issues but not sure about the others

If i understood your question right, The GPU is from XFX.

Hmmm. I don't recall that one having overheating issues. You may want to run DDU and install 16.7. If that doesn't fix it then RMA the GPU

Run DDU to uninstall driver then install 16.7.3? (newest driver available)

Do you have case fans in your system?

Did you use the latest version of DDU? Older versions are incompatible with Crimson.

Fixed it no worries. So i got 16.7.3 installed now. Yeah i have 5 case fans. Two that came with the case (one intake front of the case and one exaust at the back) and 3 Be-Quiet case fans (140mm). One on the side panel (intake), one on top (exaust) and one on Bottom (intake)

What temps did you get at stock and with the new curve?

tbh the 3 case fans didnt help at all. I got the same temp as before installing the 3 new fans. That was before i installed MSI afterburner and made a custom curve for my GPU so that the temp went down alot.
