Overclocking i5 3450.

First of all, my system.

 

i5 3450 @ 3.7ghz

Gigabyte ga-h77-d3h http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4141#sp

gtx 780

8gb of ram.

 

so by lookin throughout the internet, iam about 99% sure theres no way i could further oc my cpu on that motherboard.

 

i was able to get to 3.7ghz from 3.5 with a base clock overclock( runing stable for a few months now), and i wasnt able to change the multiplier on that motherboard.

 

but since iam not that familiar with overclocking, i thought it was worth a shot opening a thread incase iam missing something and there is in fact a way to get more out of that cpu.

 

so for my question:

 

is there any way to raise the multiplier on that motherboard?

how did you overclock it? you are running H77 and an non-unlocked processor

BLCK frecuency but it can be a bit risk or not ven do ahything in most cases. If you wanna overclock, get a Zx7 board and a K Variant. Thsese both cannot overclock for anything.

I have the 3450 running at 3.9 but I have a Z77 which allows me to adjust the multiplier within a turbo boost limit which is actually higher then the Intel Turbo. However I don't think the same can be on the H77 boards.
